M.H.S. Softball Fundraiser For Central School Field AT MOLLY'S !
The Mamaroneck High School softball program is currently conducting a fundraising drive in order to facilitate the improvement of the Central School softball field, most notably via the construction of a new and improved outdoor batting cage. The fundraiser will be capped with an evening at Molly Spillane's on January 8, 2016.
Here are the links to a letter further detailing the particulars of the fundraiser and an invitation to the Molly's event.
As you all know, the L.M.L.L. heavily utilizes and relies on Central during our recreational and travel seasons. The L.M.L.L. supports the efforts of the M.H.S. program to improve Central and asks that you review the attachments and consider helping the program to achieve this worthy goal.
Thanks for your consideration.

Baseball Gold, Green, Blue And Majors Bat Restrictions FOR 2015 !
Under Little League rules, the only composite barrel bats that may be used in our Baseball Gold, Green, Blue and Majors divisions are those licensed by Little League. Little League maintains a current list of these bats. Please keep this in mind in buying bats for the upcoming season.
Baseball Majors+ Bat Restrictions FOR 2015 !
Under current Little League rules, composite barrel bats will not be permitted in Baseball Majors+ unless they meet the BBCOR performance standard and are clearly labeled “BBCOR”. BBCOR bats are typically 2-5/8 inches in diameter and “drop 3” (or -3), meaning that the bat weighs 3 ounces less than the length in inches (e.g., a 31 inch bat will weigh 28 ounces). This means that certain composite barrel bats that are permitted in Baseball Majors and below will not be permitted in Baseball Majors+. Please keep this in mind in buying bats for the upcoming season.
